This one-of-a-kind wooden sculpture is deeply engaging and captivating, with a deep transmission of the power of the jaguar.  The depth of the jaguar’s gaze in the green eyes, flowing design, fine details and beautiful wood grain provides endless opportunities to enjoy this handcrafted artwork.

The jaguar feels as though it’s emerging out of the frame and fully present in the room.  It allows the viewer to step into the jaguar’s world, with a sense of immense presence, clarity, precision, patience, grace and power.

This artwork was inspired by the Andean wisdom traditions and earth-honouring shamanic ways.  The jaguar symbolizes the kaypacha, which is essentially the middle world, the world of the “here and now”, or the dynamic physical realm.  In this tradition the jaguar also holds power for mental healing.

This unique wooden artwork was designed, cut, carved and fully created by hand – absolutely no use of automated CNCs or laser cutting.

The artwork is made from:

• A variety of high quality and carefully chosen wood: various types of cedar, butternut, ash, walnut and  maple.
• All natural wood except for the green eyes which are dyed maple and all the black pieces which are dyed walnut.
• 1 3/8” deep, handcrafted frame made from Douglas Fir. Secured with professional joinery (splines) and blackened, then finished with multiple coats of high quality hardwood oil.

Ready-to-hang with an easy to install metal cleat that will keep the piece secure and level on your wall. Instructions will be included in the shipment to help install the bracket on your wall. Artwork should be hung out of direct sunlight, since UV exposure will fade wood products over time.
