This handcrafted blue jay artwork combines the natural beauty of the oak’s wood grain patterns with a modern splash of colour. Each piece of wood was cut out from carefully selected boards that would allow your eye to travel through the artwork with ease. The grain of the maple backing radiates out from the blue jay and into the handmade hardwood frame.
This piece is made from:
- White oak, poplar and walnut, with the use of dyes to achieve the colour
- Maple plywood used as a canvas/backing
- Handcrafted frame made from red oak (finished with black dye & oil)
Easy-to-hang with a picture wire that will keep the piece secure and level on your wall. Artwork should be hung out of direct sunlight, since UV exposure will fade wood products over time.
