This piece of wood art was inspired by memories of sitting on the shorelines of Berg Lake, looking up at the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. It is a truly awe inspiring and serene sight after a classic Canadian hike.
The artwork is made from:
- ½” hardwoods: black Walnut, a variety of unique maple pieces (curly, figured, hard maple), and butternut wood for the shorelines.
- The lake is made from blue-dyed curly maple to give the appearance of ripples in the water.
- Cabinet-grade Maple plywood as a canvas/backing.
- 2” deep, handcrafted frame made from Red Oak.
Ready-to-hang with an easy to install metal cleat that will keep the piece secure and level on your wall. Instructions will be included in the shipment to help install the bracket on your wall. Artwork should be hung out of direct sunlight, since UV exposure will fade wood products over time.
