Mt. Assiniboine Sculpture
$4,500.00
36.5” wide x 16.5” high
A one-of-a-kind carved piece of artwork based on Mt. Assiniboine, hiding behind Sunburst Peaks and the surrounding lakes. This iconic Canadian scene sits on the border of British Columbia and Alberta, and has been on my bucket list for years.
There’s so much to take in with this wooden artwork – intricately hand cut pieces that highlight the unique grain patterns and character of natural hardwoods.
The artwork is made from:
- A variety of black walnut, curly maple, and bark-inclusion maple filled with epoxy.
- Lakes made from blue-dyed curly maple. The rich colour of blue brings out the winter scene.
- Cabinet-grade maple plywood as a canvas/backing.
- 2.75” deep handcrafted frame made from red oak.
Ready-to-hang with an easy to install metal cleat that will keep the piece secure and level on your wall. Instructions will be included in the shipment to help you install the bracket on the wall. Artwork should be hung out of direct sunlight, since UV exposure will fade wood products over time.
